Sports injury rehab that gets you back in the game.
Return-to-play rehabilitation for weekend warriors and competitive athletes alike. From ankle sprains to ACL recovery, we don't just relieve pain — we rebuild you to perform.
Rehab for the active life.
Sports injuries don't just happen to professional athletes. They happen to weekend cyclists, high school football players, recreational runners, pickleball enthusiasts, and Coloradans who refuse to slow down. Whatever your level, you deserve rehab that goes beyond pain relief and prepares you to return safely — and stronger than before.
Our sports injury program addresses acute injuries (sprains, strains, ligament tears) and overuse conditions (tendinitis, stress fractures, IT band issues) with a clear path back to your sport. We use the same evidence-based progressions that professional athletes use, scaled to your specific goals.
Most importantly, we don't cut corners on return-to-play. Coming back too soon is the leading cause of re-injury — so we use objective testing to know when you're truly ready.

Performance-based recovery.
We don't just rehab the injury — we rebuild the athlete.
Manual therapy
Targeted hands-on techniques to address tissue restriction and accelerate healing in the acute phase.
Progressive loading
Carefully graduated exercise that respects healing timelines while pushing capacity — the key to safe return.
Sport-specific training
Once basic function is restored, we mimic the demands of your sport — cutting, jumping, throwing, sprinting — in a controlled progression.
Return-to-play testing
Objective measures of strength, power, and movement quality determine when you're truly ready to compete again.
Your return to sport, step by step.
A clear progression from injury through full return.
Acute care
Pain and swelling control, protected motion, and early gentle loading. The goal is to set the stage for everything that follows.
Mobility & strength
Restoring full range of motion and rebuilding strength symmetrically. We use the uninjured side as the benchmark.
Functional training
Reintroducing complex movements — single-leg work, plyometrics, change-of-direction — that prepare you for sport.
Sport-specific drills
Practicing the actual demands of your activity in a controlled, progressive way — from straight-line running to full cutting.
Return to play
Objective testing confirms readiness. We work with your coach or trainer on a graded return-to-competition plan.

Frequently asked questions.
How soon after a sports injury should I start rehab?
Generally, the sooner the better. Even within the first few days of an injury, gentle therapy reduces swelling, prevents stiffness, and shortens overall recovery time. The exception is severe injuries requiring surgical consultation first.
How long until I can play sports again?
It depends entirely on the injury, your sport, and your starting fitness level. A mild ankle sprain might be 2–3 weeks. An ACL reconstruction is typically 6–9 months. Your therapist will give you a realistic timeline at your evaluation.
Do I need to see a doctor before starting sports rehab?
For most non-traumatic injuries — overuse problems, tendinitis, recurring pain — you can come straight to PT under Colorado's direct-access laws. For acute trauma or suspected serious injuries (suspected fracture, severe ligament tear), we coordinate with a physician.
Do you treat young athletes?
Yes, we work with athletes from middle school age through adult. Youth athletes have unique considerations (growth plates, developing skeletal structure) that we factor into every plan.
What if I need surgery for my injury?
We do prehabilitation before surgery (which dramatically improves outcomes) and full post-surgical recovery after. We follow your surgeon's specific protocol while providing the one-on-one attention you need.
How is sports rehab different from regular PT?
Sports rehab takes recovery further than basic pain relief. After restoring normal function, we add sport-specific demands — cutting, jumping, throwing, sprinting — and use objective testing to confirm readiness for competition.
